Sloppy Joes in the Crock Pot

February 18, 2019 Debbie Leave a Comment

Sometimes you just want easy! Sometimes you just need a no-brainer idea for lunch or dinner. That’s where this easy Crock-pot recipe for Sloppy Joes comes in.

Why cook sloppy joes in the crock-pot instead of on the stove top? Honestly? Because I’m lazy. LOL. Once everything is in the crock-pot I can go about my business without having to constantly stir it. I, also, personally believe this is one of those recipes that taste better the longer you simmer it.

There are so many different slow cookers on the market. Different sizes, different shapes, different colors. Some of them even come with carrying handles or cases. WOW! Something for everyone. I actually have 3 Crock-Pots. My first one was a 6 quart that I purchased many years ago when I still had kids at home. Then I used it to make large batches of foods for freezing. I also have a 4 quart. It’s my least favorite because it doesn’t seem to cook the same as my other ones.

MY FAVORITE CROCK-POT! 3-1/2-Quart Crock Pot, White. It is the perfect size for me and my husband. If you’re looking to downsize your slow cooker I highly recommend this one. It has plenty of room for cooking for 2 people, with plenty of leftovers. Plus I have the larger ones for cooking large batches for family or freezing. Definitely a win-win.
