Are you enjoying all this beautiful weather? I know I am. With this quartine I am enjoying it a little more than I normally would in the spring time. Since it’s so beautiful outside (at least in the south) I thought I would put together a list of outdoor activities that kids of all ages could enjoy. Scavenger hunts are one of my favorite childhood memories. The sites below have come up with some creative hunts to do with kids, and family members.
Looking for one to do with neighbors? Here’s a cool Sidewalk Chalk Hunt from Saving Talents. Basically, your family draws a picture on the scavenger sheet. Then everyone in the neighborhood goes on the hunt for the animal or image.
This outdoor scavenger hunt from Moms and Munchkins is small but a great way to have some fun with the family.
How about a Bug / Insect Hunt. I am sure the boys would love this one. Looks like loads of fun. We have a lot of these in our area…..check out the site kim and carrie for this scavenger hunt.
Play Party Plan has a great Fun Wacky Walk Idea. You will need a deck of cards for this walk. I think we will have to give it a try with my niece and nephew. Sounds like so much fun….
Love Nature. DIY Candy has created a fun one with baking pans and printables. Looks like a fun one for kids..
Crayons and Cravings has a few that are different difficulties. Kids of all ages should be able to do this one. Check out the link. I am unable to post her picture.
Only Passionate Curiosity has a Nature hunt that is a bit interesting. Its called Liking Lichen. Kids that love nature will probably enjoy this one.
Hip Home School Moms has created a outdoor walk that involves ABC’s. This is a good way to keep the kids focused on learning while out having some fun. Just grab some paper and a marker and your good to go.
4 the love of food blog has created a printable Nature Scavenger Hunt that you can do in your neighborhood and the kids will love it.
Here is a nature hunt thats perfect for the little ones. Dresses and Dinosaurs has created a simple hunt that your little one can do in their own neighborhood.
