Do you love mysteries? And romance? I absolutely love a good romantic suspense story! Of course, my one requirement is that it be a Christian novel. Stories are better without all the garbage thrown in.
Do you read hard copy books or read on a Kindle, Nook, or some other digital app? I mostly read fiction books on my Kindle app. However, when I read nonfiction I like to have a hard copy because I love to highlight and take notes. Yes, I know I can do that with Kindle but for me it’s just not the same.
One of my recent reads is a book bundle set by the name of Exposed: A Christian Romantic Suspense Boxed Set Book Bundle Collection. There are 7 authors, each with a story. These stories are not written as a sequel to the story before it. They each have their own plot and story line.
Can you believe it?! Only $.99 for seven books!! Kindle edition only.
These are amazing books! They each have their own story line which will keep you in suspense.
Mary Alford – Hallowed Ground
When Erin’s unit is deployed to Afghanistan to find the elusive terrorist the CIA believes responsible for taking Blake’s life, the mission proves to be a setup, wiping out almost the entire team. The biggest threat to their survival might prove to be their growing feelings for each other
Lynnette Bonner – Fire Fire is a new street drug killing the students in teacher Kyra Radell’s school. Her brother died years earlier because of drugs so she is determined to do what she can to rid the streets of the drug. And of course she needs help. Enters Case Lexington, an undercover cop, who has been sent in to pose as a high school senior. Oh my, this is definitely an interesting plot.
Lesley Ann McDaniel – Jill Came Tumbling After
Jill Martin is having a hard life. She has 2 kids to support and no income. Luckily? Or not? She takes a job at the new factory that’s about to open in Madison Falls. Something illegal is happening at the factory but it’s Jill against the company and most of the town. Definitely a good read.
Lisa Phillips – Deadly Exposure
Navy SEAL Bradley Harris returns home to find his sister, Senator Rachel Harris, has been abducted. The FBI’s prime suspect is Alexis Calvert, Rachel’s best friend and the woman he gave his heart to long ago. Can Bradley get his sister back and protect the woman he loves? Or is this story doomed from the beginning?
Angela Ruth Strong – Dead on Arrival
Maritza Rosado arrives in Washington D.C. only to discover the world thinks both she and her father died on a plane crash in the Amazon. What is going on!! Worse, the man she’d once considered an uncle has taken over her nation and ordered two consulate workers in the U.S. to assassinate her. This book has a twist to it that definitely will keep you in suspense!
Alana Terry – Termination Dust
After her mother’s death, Kimmie has no reason to stay under her stepfather’s abusive rule. No reason, that is, except for her innocent half-brother who would bear the brunt of his father’s anger if Kimmie ran away.
Virginia Vaughan – For Love or Money
Amy Sullivan left everything familiar to meet an aunt she didn’t know she had. She’s searching for a family connection, yet gets much more when she’s named sole heir to her aunt’s fortune. But someone in this sleepy, southern town doesn’t want Amy to live long enough to collect that inheritance.
My favorite of the seven books was Deadly Exposure. I found it very well written and it definitely kept my interest. My least favorite was
Termination Dust. It was a little dark for me. I don’t really like to read books about abusive situations.
I did not receive compensation from any of the authors for this review. Nor did I receive the book for free.
