Have You Ever Had One of Those Days? You know, the one that makes you think the whole world is against you? The one where you feel all alone? The one where nothing goes right no matter what you do? The one that makes you want to just get in bed and pull the blankets over your head?
Don’t worry about anything; instead, pray about everything; tell God your needs, and don’t forget to thank him for his answers.
Philippians 4:6 Living Bible (TLB)

To love God is the greatest of virtues; to be loved by God is the greatest of blessings.
We’ve all had them. If you haven’t, quick…check your pulse…are you still alive? LOL. You can’t live in this world and not have bad days. However, you can climb up out of the darkness, call on Jesus, and get back on track. Yes, I’m talking from personal experience. My goal is to increase my good days and decrease the bad. Mostly though, my goal is to lean on Jesus for He is my strength and shelter. He promises to be with us in good times and bad. We need to learn to praise God when things are going good. We also need to praise God when troubles come our way. Is it easy? Nope. God never said that life would be easy. But He did promise to be with us always.

Your soul is your mind, your will and your emotions. When the Word gets rooted in there and begins to change your mind, it begins to heal your emotions and turn your will away from self-will and onto doing the will of God.
Do you have a favorite Bible scripture or quote? It’s a great idea to write them down. I like to use index cards. Then I can put them on the bathroom mirror, on the fridge door, in my Bible, on the table beside my bed or chair, or wherever I can get my hands on them quickly when I need to. Sometimes it’s hard to keep a clear head when everything seems lost. Having scriptures and quotes readily available can be a great help.
You must not take revenge nor hold a grudge against any of your people; instead, you must love your neighbor as yourself; I am the Lord.
